I began my journey in literature because of Harry Potter at 13 years old. However, I watched the movies first, so I already knew everything that would happen. Honestly, of everything I’ve ever read, this is the only story that I would give everything do experience it for the first time again. I only read today because of Harry Potter, but I’ll never see this series like it really is, because I’m extremely biased due to me growing up reading those books.
Do you guys feel like this with a certain book or series?

I’m in the same boat with *Harry Potter*. I can never read it again without my nostalgia for it and JK Rowling’s transphobia tainting the experience.
Harry Potter really is just one of the greats. Perfect for kids and adults it hooked me into reading too
I feel this way about a lot of books. The Raven Boys series, Harry Potter, the Hunter series…
