started reading non-fiction books but i find it very hard not to study it instead of reading it bec i will forget like 95% of what i read the next day. Especially that English is not my native language and i have to do alot of words translations (10-20 new word per chapter)
How do you guys read non fiction? Is it normal to foget the while point of the chapter the next day?

I have enough studying to do already, so if I read non-fiction, I read for entertainment and interest. If it contains something valuable, I trust that reading it will leave an impact on me. If I want to remember specific details, I can always refer back.
I’ll read smaller pop nonfiction books like The Professor and the Madman, Moonwalking with Einstein, The Drunkard’s Walk, The Man Who Loved Only Numbers, Periodic Tales, The Code Book….
But if you get any chunkier than that I can’t do it anymore. I mostly read Fiction.
