I Am Legend is awesome. It was written like 70 years ago and doesn’t feel it at all – it set a blueprint for what post apocalyptic fiction could be and the genre wouldn’t be what it is today without it (even Night of the Living Dead took inspiration from it).
I never saw the 2007 movie with Will Smith and don’t know if I ever will, but really enjoyed the book.

Wanderers by Chuck Wendig is about a (fictional) pandemic, it’s set during the entire run of the pandemic and it got… a scary amount of things right, with how people handled things. It was published in 2019, I read it during 2020 lol maybe not my smartest moment. Very good though
