I used to like reading when younger but with all the technology in this generation I lost interest but now want to get back into it I’ve tried to get back into it before but tend to get bored I’m looking for something to start to get into reading I don’t want something to complicated just something that keeps me entertained and will help me get into reading thanks

Ny go to book rec for people who want to get into reading is Holes by Louis Sachar, because it appeals to all ages, has really short chapters, and is super engaging!
Ready Player One
Carrie, by Stephen King.
Scythe by Neal Shusterman
I really like the Michael Connelly books. Read “Lincoln Lawyer”, and then watch the movie. It’s a page turner.
And I totally get the difficulty reading. My attention span is garbage now. Thank goodness I finished school decades ago. I worry about my young kids not being able to spend the countless hours of studying that is required to do well in school. Good luck!!
Read Fahrenheit 541 by Bradbury and For Whom the Bell Tolls by Hemmingway the summer I turned 17. Those two books really got me into reading. The first one is pretty fast paced.
