Hello, my spouse and i picked up a mini mystery book called Whodunits by Tom Bullimore. On every page you read a paragraph or two and had to figure out the answer of who committed the crime.

I’ve been trying to find something like it and I cannot.. it’s either a puzzle (we don’t want to have to share a puzzle – we just want to read a story and figure out the answer together) or it’s for kids.

If I’m in the wrong subreddit please let me know. But does anyone have any suggestions for similar books? Thank you!

    1. I don’t have a suggestion, but I just ordered the book you mentioned. Thanks for sharing.

Five-Minute Mini Mysteries by Stan Smith? MC is an adult and there’s a mix of crimes (several murders) and logic puzzles (who brought what to the potluck?)

    3. Two Minute Mysteries by Donald J. Sobol. They are short little mystery stories where you turn to a page at the back of the book for the solution, so you can guess the answer yourself first. It’s exactly what you are looking for.

Out of print, but look for used on eBay or Amazon. There were three books and then a collection.

The same author also wrote the Encyclopedia Brown books.
