I just finished reading “The Atlas Complex” and I have to say, I’m pretty disappointed. This book was almost 600 pages long, and at least 2/3 of it was just the characters arguing with each other about whether or not to end the world.
I was especially frustrated by the lack of exploration into Dalton’s motives and Libby Rhodes’ character. Despite causing so much harm and destruction, Libby spends pages and pages grappling with moral dilemmas that feel shallow and unconvincing.
Overall, I feel like I wasted a lot of time reading this book. The plot was weak, the writing was bland, and the characters were uninteresting. Has anyone else had a similar experience with this series?
