My dad told me about a book that he has always wanted to know the name of but has never been able to. He does not know Reddit exists so I will try to help him!
Here is the concept he described to me:
The book follows a person doing their job. Their job is the unique part. Whenever an inmate is on death row and set to be executed, this person’s job is to go out into the world and find someone that genuinely Love’s that inmate. If they are able to find someone that loves the inmate then they will be spared from the death penalty.
Anyone have any clue what book this could be?

After searching I can’t find anything- when I first read your post I thought it might be “I Am the Messenger”…but this is only if your friend has misconstrued what the book is about, could be possible. I don’t think so, but I hope you find the book!
