For The peoples here who had watched The Japanese Anime Death Note,Is there is any Book like this story.?
I am not talking about the supernatural Side or The psychological/thriller side but rathet I am talking about the 9000 IQ Characters.

I want a story(doens’t matter if it is fantasy or detective or realistic…) where there is 2 or more characters trying to outsmart each other and these characters have to be hyper intelligences and came with some of the most complicated Plans,I don’t want just statements about these characters being smart but I want see real Actions/Plans/Feats that make blew my mind.

Note:I already know about A song of ice and fire and while the story is good,I find the plans/The intelligence of characters very very overrated or rather let say their intelligence is realistics,I don’t really want that.

    1. While the anime is faithful, the manga is very well worth a read too, if manga works for you. And there are Death Note novels as well. I do not know how well they fit the criteria of mastermind battles though.

      here’s some you may like:
-Mother of Learning. Intelligent student trying to escape a time loop.

-The Metropolitan Man by Alexander Wales. Superman fanfic with an actually competent Lex Luther.

-Marvel’s Runaways comic. At least the first few volumes.

-Red Rising. A bit of a grind to get through the early parts, but the payoff is worth it.

You might also find some on r/rational sub.

If you’re looking for stories in terms of mystery and intrigue like a “who dunnit?” or there’s a bit of plotting by characters, maybe try some stories by Agatha Christie. **And Then There Were None** or **Murder On The Orient Express.** Anything with Poirot would be decent I feel like (watched the British show which I loved). I would even suggest **Sir Arthur Conan’s *beloved* Sherlock Holmes** (especially the British tv show!).

I think you should check out Nisioisin actually. He writes light novels which feature very intelligent characters in all kinds of aspects. You can start with the Death Note spin-off he wrote about the BB murder cases, then if you like his writing style you can check out Monogatari series or Kubikiri cycle 🙂

    5. Numbers by Rachel Ward.

      >Ever since she was child, Jem has kept a secret: Whenever she meets someone new, no matter who, as soon as she looks into their eyes, a number pops into her head. That number is a date: the date they will die. Burdened with such awful awareness, Jem avoids relationships. Until she meets Spider, another outsider, and takes a chance. The two plan a trip to the city. But while waiting to ride the Eye ferris wheel, Jem is terrified to see that all the other tourists in line flash the same number. Today’s number. Today’s date. Terrorists are going to attack London. Jem’s world is about to explode!
