Postmodernism, or, the Cultural Logic of Late Capitalism by Fredric Jameson. Never got too far into it, I’ll admit.

Cryptonomicon by Neal Stephenson. I stopped reading five pages before the end on principle. I hate that book.

I got 17 pages into The Satanic Verses and the Angel had not stopped falling. DNF.

*Naked Lunch* by William S Burroughs.
I read the whole thing. I could not for the life of me tell you what it was about.

It is a short story that you can get on its own or as a part of one of Joyce Carol Oates’ compilation of short stories, but “How I Contemplated the World From the Detroit House of Corrections and Began My Life Over Again”

In late December I was looking for a short book to ensure I hit my reading goal for the year. So I listened to _The Other Name: Septology I-II_ by Jon Fosse. Maybe it was just the way the audiobook was read, but it was the worst book I’ve read in a long, long time.
