Im building a collection of classic novels, horror and gothic ones in particular, I’d appreciate any suggestions. I’m currently reading Rebecca by Daphne Du Maurier, also any older/not super new horror books

It isn’t strictly speaking a classic horror novel, because it is more recent. But *Song of Kali* by Dan Simmons feels very similar in tone and was quite horrifying to me.
