I don’t read a lot of books but I’ve got a long train journey coming up and would like to pass some time other than the usual podcasts/iPad films
Any fiction books that are a rip-roaring read, keeping me up until 3am because I **have** to finish?

Lost City of Z, David Grann. It’s NF but still a banger as is The Wager, also by Grann
Clive Cussler is your man!
Dirk Pitt is like Indiana Jones with Military/ scuba diving experience.
My favorite book within the Dirk Pitt series is *Inca Gold*.
The Oregon files is about a team that lives in a ship which looks like a rusted out old clunker… but underneath is a very high-tech state of the art ship with the latest weaponry. Team Oregon goes on a lot of adventures and blows a lot of stuff up… tons of property damage!
My favorite are his Fargo Adventure novels. Sam and Remi Fargo are a husband and wife adventure team. She is an Archaeologist and he is a weapons designer. These books remind me of the Netflix Movie Red Notice, in that they can start in a small Desert town in the American Southwest, then quickly move to a mountain range in Peru searching for clues in the various mountain caves. Then the characters are off to the Jungles of Africa in search of an artifact inside of a hidden underground temple, followed by a trip to Germany to let an expert look at the artifact… They may end up on a beach in the Caribbean for a final showdown. Absolutely fantastic! Start with *Spartan Gold*.
