My mom’s english is like a 2/10 on the fluency level, she can read but she doesn’t understand. She really wants to start reading english books, but when she started reading my books, she didn’t understand much. so what kind of books should she buy? I dont want to recommend her a book for children but i dont know any easy books to read.
She said she wants a book with not too much suspense and she wants it to be a cozy read. She also likes books about life and stuff like that!

Is the book to help her learn to read English? Why not a children’s book?
