Hey friends.
I’ve been a writer for a long time, and I’m finally working on my debut novel. I genuinely love it so far, and I’m happy with the work I’ve done, but one thing I struggle to do is include details about the environment. Sometimes I remember to describe a location, and I usually end up liking the description, but I want to get better at it.
So what are some books you like that really excel at environmental storytelling? Some books currently on my list are *The Slow Regard of Silent Things* (Patrick Rothfuss) and *Piranesi* (Susanna Clarke).
What other suggestions do you have?
