I’m a 27-year-old man from Europe looking for a good read. However, I’m not an avid reader and books can’t seem to get through books that are over 200 pages. The last book that I read was *Of Mice and Men* by John Steinbeck and I really enjoyed it. I’m mainly interested in reading more classics, but would prefer a book that was a bit of a more comedic, “lighter” read than Steinbeck’s book.
Thank you for reading my post! Please leave a comment if you have any suggestions!

If you want a silly classic that you’ll surely get through, do anything by Kurt Vonnegut. I’ve never taken more than 3 days to finish one, usually between 40k – 50k words with the occasional 70k-80k words: Mother Night & Slaughter-House 5 both short, comedic classics. His best are a bit longer, The Sirens of Titan and Cat’s Cradle.
