I will start by listing some of what I enjoy as well as topics that interest me.
-John williams: Stoner.
I enjoyed his writing somehow even though the book was overall depressing and uneventful. So I picked up Augustus and look forward to that as well.
-Hitchhikers guide to the galaxy
Don’t panic
-anna karenina.
I liked the disection of family, and the look into the psychology of various characters as the book progresses. As an example, how vronsky set aside his goals hobbies and aspirations vs Levin waking early to work his fields with the peasants.
-I enjoy Nabokov and dostoevski.
– i started Ham on rye on audiobook, but I was enjoying it so much I wanted to read it in print.
I enjoy history and novels. Lately I discovered the kybalion, which I am loving so far. I don’t do much Sci fi. I am interested in philosophy if there are any interesting philosophical books or novels to recommend.
I came in search of a book club. Something where it’s perhaps a book a month or x number of pages per day. I’m on goodreads if there are any groups to recommend on there. Also Twitter and reddit obviously.

Don’t overlook Williams’ Butchers Crossing. It is as beautifully written as his other books you mentioned. I thought all three of his books were masterfully written.
