Growing up in the USA, all the classics we get exposed to are typically from Western countries/culture (Shakespeare, Dickens, and the like). What are some classics from Eastern/African/South American culture that, living in my USA bubble, I’m oblivious to. Preferably things with English translations, (though not necessarily in case you just want to point out what I’m missing).
