Hi Everyone,
I hope this post doesn’t offend anyone or cause discourse in the comment section.
I love history and learning, and wanted to educate myself in regards to the tragic events unfolding in the region so I can be better educated.
I am primarily looking for mainly non-fiction/historical books that give a NON-BIASED overview of the region. I know everyone is biased to some degree but I am looking for as neutral of a book as possible to educate myself in the best way.
If you have any books that are memoirs/biographies (or opinionated pieces) please feel free to send them but note that they are opinionated.

*The whole “Very Short Introductions” series, by Oxford University Press, are really great for this sort of thing. Especially if you are starting on your learning journey. As unbiased as they can be. They are just there to lay things out as clear as possible, tell both sides, and give you direction for further reading.
