Witty book with good romance

Specific Book Recommendation

Hi everyone! So I recently finished the Six of Crows Duology and I must say I didn’t expect to be this obsessed. The characters are so lovable, their relationships, the world-building, witty dialogue and genius main character made me miss the Ketterdam masterminds before I even got to the last page.

Now I’m looking for something to heal my ongoing book hangover but don’t know what to pick up. I would like something witty, with a smart/fast-paced plot and characters that grip your heart from the get-go. I’m also a sucker for good romance, but it doesn’t have to overtake the main plot. (Kaz and Inej from Six of Crows have my heart).

It also can be any genre, I am open to anything intriguing. Can be a YA if it’s not too cheesy or predictable, otherwise I am down for any recommendations. A YA book I remember disliking was A Court of Thorns and Roses(don’t hate me on this please, it’s just my preference), it felt too underdeveloped and slow-paced for my liking.

PS: I already watched Shadow and Bones and read the trilogy books years ago, so a different author would be appreciated:)
