    Hello!

First post here. 23yr old wondering if any likeminded fiction readers could recommend some books based on my current selection?
Im approaching the end of the list I scoured ages ago on Reddit and trying to grow my library now that I’m actively reading. I haven’t ventured into fantasy/sci-fi but would that also technically be fiction?

    Station eleven ✅
All the light we cannot see ✅
    Flowers for algernon ✅
    Good Omens ✅
    The things they carried ✅
    City of thieves ✅
Art of racing in the rain✅
The road – reading (binged half the book yesterday. NOT FINISHED)
    King rat – on deck
Code name verity – on deck

I usually consume video games for stories but releases have slowed and I want to up my reading!

    1. Some relatively modern books that I enjoyed last year and don’t think are too deep in their genre(science without it being overbearing, or fantasy based more on magic and mysticism than goblins and dwarves):

The Three-Body Problem by Liu Cixin (sci-fi) kind of a gamey feel to it

Dark Matter by Blake Crouch (sci-fi) good fun sci-fi that doesn’t get too caught up in the science

Piranesi by Susanna Clarke (fantasy/mystery) a really feel good story overall

The Library at Mt Char by Scott Hawkins (dark fantasy) it’s dark but creative and interesting, I personally loved it

If you enjoyed Good Omens, it’s worth checking out other works from Gaiman and Pratchett as well. I’m slowly working through Discworld series, about 7 books in. I read one every few months. They are more traditional fantasy, tame, but well written and a good read

The Shadow of the Wind by Carlos Ruiz Zafon

      The Nightingale by Kristin Hannah

Code Name Helene by Ariel Lawhon

      The Huntress by Kate Quinn

      Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury
