I just started this audiobook, I rented it from the library and it’s started out very slow (and a little dull). I’m only a few pages in, does it pick up soon? I have to admit, I don’t have much patience with meandering novels and there is a wait list so I’d rather give it back to someone who is a little more patient if that’s the case 😁
