PLEASE be aware that i spoil the entire ending in this so don’t read if u haven’t read the book
i know colleen hoover either has people who loveee her books, or really don’t like them.
i tend to really enjoy them- of course there are ways they could be better, but overall i consider her books a good read.
plus romance and her plots are my preferred reading material, i also enjoy the plot twists
i didn’t realize how different verity was going to be from the rest of them until i started. but the plot was so twisted and interesting that i had to keep reading
there were things that didn’t make sense (like how did NOBODY know that verity wasnt actually in a vegetable state?? all those doctors and not one was like yea she’s faking it?)
but it was just so twisted and idk i just wanna discuss! i saw the other post about it from a year ago but as im late to the party wanted to make. my own

Sounds like you are heavily spoiling a plot twist here
you should read Rebecca by Daphne du Maurier if you want Verity but readable. (sorry, that was a bit mean, but eh it’s colleen hoover so I can’t feel bad about it. seriously though, Rebecca is a criminally good book with some incredible twists. If you enjoyed the twists in Verity I think you’d really love Rebecca.
