I think I want a dark fantasy, action, adventure? Can someone help please

Hello everyone!

I’ll cut to the point, I’m looking for my new read fixation. Now the book doesnt HAVE to have all of my loves below, and can have my dislike, I just listed them as guidelines:)

Now, what I love: last stands, fighting against overwhelming odds (physically or mentally), main character deaths, plot twists, writing which makes you imagine (leaves a little to interpretation), super cool moments.
Things I can pass on: sex/romance (not against it, but only really if it develops the plot)

Can be either fantasy/medieval or scifi, doesn’t matter to me as long as I can get lost in it (although I am on a medieval fantasy fix atm)!
