Not quite what you asked for, but “Why Does He Do That?” by Lundy Bancroft, and “The Gift of Fear” by Gavin de Becker are must-reads for everyone in their early 20s.

It’s a beautiful story about a woman with four mothers. It’s a retelling of a very story in the bible, but it is not religious. It takes a few verses, and turns it into a gorgeous novel about womanhood and growing up.
