What a beautiful book. So lyrical and captivating. I can definately see how this book isn’t for some people, with the purple-prosed romance and the slow plot. But for me this was, dare I say, perfect. As a hopeless romantic who likes scifi, this book was like an entire delicious cake and every chapter was a slice.
Great use of time travel. Well-done characterization. Interesting set pieces. And the lastt 30 or so pages with that last arc of the story… gosh. I just want to read it again!
I’m kind of in shock, just here thinking about it over and over again.
I was reading some parts of it to my wife because it was so lyrical and so beautiful I had to share it with her.
This is a new favorite of all time.

If you havent, read it. And if you haven’t wanted to because maybe it was overhyped, try to forget about the hype and just go in with no expectations. This book might surprise you.
