So as a kid I loved to read all the harry potter books, I literally inhaled them and then stopped completely. Now and then I was reading a book, but nothing worth mentioning until last week, when I had this urgent need to grab a book and just read. I loved it! So I challenged myself to read at least one book for each calendar week.
I’ve started last week Monday and have already finished three books, as I obviously need to make up for cw 1-3.
Books I’ve read so far (mainly in german books as my first language is german, but I also have no issues with reading english books):
•Ikigai: The japanese secret to a long and happy life by Héctor García and Francesc Miralles (english)
•Nachmittage by Ferdinand von Schirach (german)
• Hard Land by Benedict Wells (german but there’s also a english version, which I highly recommend)
Right now I’m reading “Coffee and Cigarettes” by Ferdinand von Schirach and now I’m asking you lovely people of this subreddit, to help me with some recommendations, so that I can finish this challenge with books you love.
a big help would also if you are so kind to give a little insight, why you recommend this book.
Can’t wait
