Heard so many great things about it (mostly here) and am giving it a start.
I’m not far in, just a couple of chapters, (and it’s a huge book) but the story’s not really grabbing me yet and I find the style a little tedious.
At this point do I bail, or will it pick up a little bit?

I had a friend that raved about this book, we had similar tastes so I tried it, was so excited but I could not get into it at all, none of it worked for me and I gave up.
It’s definitely a book that takes its time. To be, the slow burn and world-building made it even better.
