SobI really love the language Murakami uses in his novels, but i just cannot stand the way he writes women and have come to the conclusion that his books just kind of bums me out too much to read them. (As a woman, it’s quite disheartening the way some men just seem to view women as sexual objects and it’s honestly making me a bit depressed.)
So now im looking for other books and authors that write in i similar style. I particularly enjoy the dreamy way he describes things and his flowery language. I do also enjoy the magical realism, but its not super important for me
