Authors seldom prioritize puns in their works and I encourage everyone to share whatever well thought word play you they seen in a book. Here is mine by Shakespeare: “Now is the winter of our discontent made glorious summer by this sun of York”, from his book; ‘Richard III’. The word “sun” here is the pun and this one is better heard than red.
