I’ve read all the Sarah J Maas books. I love the ACOTAR books, I like Crescent City, and Throne of glass was ok. I love her characters and the story and the worlds and how it all intertwines. But sometimes it’s so hard to see pass the juvenile writing…. Especially in TOG.
Ex: in the new crescent city book in chapter 2/3 (I don’t remember I’m listening to the audio) she uses the term “pure alphaness” …
I remember when writing in high school, and college, I would do my best not to reuse words and things like that. She does not do that.

Yeah, I read the book a Court of Thoes and Roses, and it was entertaining; but, yes, I would agree the writing itself isn’t anything special. I have no intention of finishing the series, mostly because I’m not that excited about her writing style.
