An odd request, I know, but I’m curious to see what people suggest!
For me, Acres Wild strikes me in this very inspiring, thrilling, folksy, even sort of romantic way. (Ditto with many of their songs, tbh; Jack-in-the-Green and Cheap Day Return are another couple I’d throw out. I feel like I should’ve read books that pair with all of them, but nothing comes to mind.)
