It’s been years since I read this book I was probably only about 12 years old but out of nowhere I got a flashback to it and I kinda remember it being something like this:
The main character was a kid, probably a teen and I’m pretty sure a girl.
The book started with her in a museum maybe on a school field trip and she was able to hear the thoughts of all the other kids in her head.
Then there’s a blank in my mind but I think she met someone who knew of her power and took her to some magical school similarly like Hagrid with Harry Potter.
I distinctly remember them describing the first day of school where all of the students were lined up against a wall for attendance
I kinda remember that in their world most people only had about 1 or 2 powers but the main character had like 5 or something, or maybe her power was really rare. Something like that that made her unique
I also remember that in their school on Christmas or some similar holiday/fest they bring each other gifts
I think their was also one bit where a bully or someone puts something that really stinks in the main characters locker and they get revenge by posting up the “bully’s” grades or something like that up on the wall for everyone to see
The details are really hazy in my mind so some of it’s probably wrong but if anyone knows what book I might be talking ab pls help me out here
