The book series is by Beth revis, comprised of *Across the universe*, *A million suns* and *Shades of earth*
My main complaint is about shades of earth, the way they revealed Elder didn’t actually die felt pretty cliché (despite the fact that I was happy he didn’t die) but also Amy’s parents were killed off for like nothing, like seriously? her father died like 10 minutes before the treaty was signed?? Though I do also like how Revis went off the tracks and had Amy be transformed into a hybrid, but didn’t have her change back, i feel like most authors would find a way to change her back
Another thing is that Revis isn’t afraid to kill major characters, and I like that, like killing off Kit was a bold move i feel like, also having Doc be the antagonist in *A million suns* was something I did not expect, but looking back was hinted at
I thought I had more to talk about, but oh well, most ppl who see this probably won’t have read it anyways

OMG I read the first couple of books for my sophomore year as required reading! I have never seen anyone else talk about it. (You might be wondering why a mediocre young adult sci fi series was required reading in my school. My teacher decided to do a sci-fi unit and picked out five books in the genre she thought kids my age would like, and this happened to be the series my group was assigned).
I don’t remember much, but I recall thinking it was kind of bad and nonsensical. And if my fourteen-year-old self thought it was crappy, then my grown-up self would probably think it’s terrible.
