I’m just curious to know if there’s a madlad out there who’s taken the most famous Greek Epics and arranged them into a timeline. Like, we know The Odyssey is a sequel to The Illiad and that The Argonautica takes place before them both, I think.
It would be interesting to see how well they fit together and the expansive journey of some of the characters who show up regularly throughout a lot of them, and I wonder if it would make for a semi-coherent read or if it would just be completely incomprehensible.
If anyone knows of someone who’s done something like this, even if it’s just a basic list, I’d be interested to see how it’s ordered and why. It would be fascinating to dig into.
