Acquired War and Peace a couple of weeks ago, buying it from a local book store. Started reading it, got invested, and now I’m about almost done with the Third Book in the first volume. As a Napoleonic wars fan, I think this book does an amazing job at “romanticizing” the events inside it. What I love about this book is that it’s not utterly romantic; au contraire: it’s absolutely marvelous and a nice dive inside Tolstoy’s Philosophy. Haven’t read much about him (although I have studied his biography) but he seems like a good author. I really hope this book will get so much more intresting as I go deeper into it.
