I am looking for suggestions of your favorite horror books written by women. I had been on the horror lit subreddit, but left because I got a bunch of crappy comments for asking for book recs without fatphobia, so I would like to not rejoin that subreddit, frankly.
I really lean towards horror written by women, and especially queer women! What are your faves?

What kind of horror are you looking for?
Some authors I’ve enjoyed recently include Isabel Yap, Alisa Whitely, Claire Khoda, Silvia Moreno-Garcia, Cassandra Khaw, & Carmen Maria Machado.
I also really like the female authors on the indie publisher Quill & Crow Press, I recently read Ending in Ashes by Rececca Howe Jones and am currently reading Blood Coven by Sabrina Voerman.
If you give me some more of your taste, I can probably be more specific in recommending titles you might dig.
