I’d live and die in my fantasy bubble tbh, but I also want to try other genres. I usually get bored if there aren’t strong plot lines and good character development, which is why I’m hesitant to try Romance, among other genres. Any recommendations for someone who lives for intricately crafted storylines?
Some of my favourite books: the Malazan Empire, almost all of Brandon Sanderson’s Cosmere books, Lord of the Rings, Wheel of Time, the Atlas Six, etc.

Brandon Sanderson did an AMA here [you might want to take a look](http://www.reddit.com/r/books/comments/2ytg2h/im_novelist_brandon_sanderson_ama/) 🙂 [Here’s a link to all of our upcoming AMAs](http://www.reddit.com/r/books/wiki/amafullschedule)
