I just read “It ends with us” and was once again disappointed because it’s just another unrealistic piece of paper where the good guy gets the girl and she leaves the bad guy.
I know that he’s abusive but I just want to read ONE book, just one, where the good, no, the boring guy doesn’t get the girl. Where she’s weak and human and stays. Where there is no classic happy end. Does such a book exist? Please recommend me something.

Based on Disney movies where the villain gets the girl! First book is Hooked. **check trigger warnings because these are dark romance**
{The Serpent and The Wings of Night by Carissa Broadbent} threw me in for a loop at the end of the first book. The ACOTAR series is interesting but perhaps not reaching the morally grey MMC you desire.
{Feathers so Viscous by Liv Zander} I heard was about the baddies getting the girl. Please check its TW. I haven’t ready it myself because of that.

This one is brutal. He’s definitely the bad guy and it’s certainly not a happy ending
