A year or so ago I read The Rabbit Back Literature Society by Pasi Ilmari Jääskeläinen, and love it. I still think about it. With this in mind, I was hoping for suggestions of “not your typical magical realism” as in books that are little-known or that use magical realism in a very unique way. I have read Marquez and Allende and a lot of Latinx authors, so it would be nice to know magical realism from other countries and cultures.
Or just anything similar to Rabbit Back will do. 🙂
