Hey everybody. My dad gifted me this book that he’s had forever and I want to keep it and read it. Thing is, the book is about 100 years old and it’s pretty banged up. Does anyone know approx how much effort one would have to go through to have a book’s binding restored? Is something like that expensive? i can imagine it’s a pretty old skill to have.

It was published in 1908!
There’s a famous bookbinders on Rochester Row in Victoria called Shepherds. Probably only any good to you if you live in London. They definitely restore old books.
