Ive really only ever read fiction books or biographies or the occasional “philosophy” book but I recently picked up “The Lives of a Cell” from a thrift store and loved it. After I finished reading it I looked online for nonfiction books about subjects I’m interested in (insects, marine bio, human bio, etc) and most of what I found was either a little too complicated for me, someone who is just now getting into this type of readings, or almost like a kid’s science book.
What I really want is something forgiving to someone who’s hardly ever read anything like this before but also not so simple I’m bored to death. I’m open to almost all types of science though you get extra points if it has to do with insects.
