I am looking for some good books that have an idea similar to the Matrix.
Doesn’t have to have all the Cyberpunk The Matrix has.
Just the general idea of someone slowly realizing his/her life is a dream and maybe they wake up in the story, maybe not. Maybe they wake up multiple times and realize they are still dreaming. Perhaps they see things like synchronicities. It could begin as a relatively normal story but then some things slowly change.
A multiple dimension kind of thing is also welcome.
I am in the process of reading Necromancer. It’s a good book, but a bit hard to read at certain points.
EDIT: Preferably in English or translated into English.

Not sure if it suits well but I can recommend “Cloud Atlas” by David Mitchell. There is 6 different stories in the book, main character of one of them is on the way of discovering their whole life is a lie. Cyberpunk chapters also included. The author of this book was also working on movie adaptation with directors of matrix movie, sisters Wachowski. I enjoyed both movie and book a lot, maybe you could give it a try as well!
