Anyone have good recommendations for books that have worlds like the one in John Wick? Like with a whole secret network of hitman and assassins etc. who have their own special rules and forms of payment and resources, etc.
a good storyline with plenty of action and maybe a revenge plot would be a huge bonus!

Not hitmen, but Already Dead is the first book in a 5 book series by Charlie Huston about vampire clans in modern New York. John Wick reminded me of that series a lot. I promise, this is exactly what you’re looking for.
Also, not exactly what you’re asking for, but I think you would also like Severance Package by Duane Swierczynski.
