I would love some suggestions based on some of the books I’ve loved recently. Asian-authored specifically but open to other suggestions too!
I just want to read about women getting up to it and being suspicious of the patriarchy, capitalism, racial inequality, the beauty industry, love, etc while also acting at least somewhat unhinged about it.
Examples:
Organ Meats – K-Ming Chang
Natural Beauty – Ling Ling Huang
The Vegetarian – Han Kang
The Forest Brims Over – Maru Ayase
Earthlings – Murata
