i just reread this book and i’m just now realising how much more animal deaths impact me over human deaths. when i reread the part where candy’s dog got shot i couldn’t hold back my tears, i was on a train, and i never cry in public, lol.
does this happen to you guys? or maybe the opposite? i find human deaths a lot easier to gloss over.
