I seem to have fallen into a hole of reading Dystopian fiction and don’t hate it. I read the matched trilogy, followed by the giver series (The series was a very easy read. And I thoroughly enjoyed the first but the other three were just meh).

And now I just finished a book called Unwind. Anything else in this world you would recommend?

EDIT: Do not need to be in the world of YA fiction. I would even prefer a book that I didn’t finish in 3 hours.

If you liked Unwind, try the author’s Arc of a Scythe series.

If you want to stay within YA:

The Delirium trilogy by Lauren Oliver (if you liked Matched)

Chaos Walking trilogy by Patrick Ness

      Feed by MT Anderson

      Genesis by Bernard Beckett

The Grace Year by Kim Liggett

The Shadow Children series by Margaret Peterson Haddix

      Uglies series by Scott Westerfeld

The House of the Scorpion by Nancy Farmer

Outside YA, these are among the most famous dystopian novels:

The Handmaid’s Tale by Margaret Atwood

Brave New World by Aldous Huxley

Never Let Me Go by Kazuo Ishiguro

      Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury

      Animal Farm by George Orwell

      We by Yevgeny Zamyatin
