I love Niven and Welsh, like Cormac McCarthy, dig Don Winslow and a recent favourite was November Road by Lou Berney. I’m currently reading The Friends of Eddy Coyle by George Higgins.
So you can probably see what types of books I love but recently have struggled to find books I really like. Please give me some suggestions.
As a slight aside Irvine Welsh said “write a book that your parents would not want to read”, so I ended up writing 3 books which have now been published. British Crime thriller (no cockneys mugging people off though!) set against the late 80’s/90’s UK and Ibiza rave scenes. Check them out on Amazon but be warned drugs, sex and violence prevails!!!
