At this point. I just want to learn something that will help me in real life.

So far this year i read 3 books. Each book was on average 300 pages.
And it felt like a that book couldve been summed up into a 20 minute video. Not joking.
Now Im contemplating if I should read any non fiction books. My goal is to grow as a person. To take responsibility and be self sufficent.

If your goal is to get wealthy, the books I’d recommend are:

      – How to Win Friends and Influence People
      – Who Moved My Cheese?
      – Mindset by Carol Dweck
      – Getting Things Done by David Allen
      – Grit by Angela Duckworth

The theme of this collection of books is developing a mindset that you can accomplish any goal you set your mind to. Remember with pretty much all self-help books, the first 1-2 chapters are about why you should read the book you’re already reading, so you can save time by skipping that intro.

For money management, you could also check out The Intelligent Investor by Warren Buffet’s mentor Benjamin Graham. It teaches pretty much the only two ways to get ahead consistently by stock picking. But my personal favorite resource is a blog called Mr. Money Mustache. I recommend to start at the oldest post and read your way through up to present day. It’s a really comprehensive education. Just for fun & motivation, I like the authors Tim Ferriss and Grant Cardone. They can really pump you up as you’re building wealth. Tools of Titans is such a nice collection.

Dean Koontz writes a blend of psychological thriller and horror, particularly his earlier works: Watchers, Whispers, Lightning, The Bad Place, False Memory, some of my favs.
