I finished Eleanor Oliphant last night and I loved it! After a couple of rough years, where I’ve been rereading a lot, I decided this year to read some new things
So I scoured this sub for recommendation posts (you know the ones – best book you’ve ever read, the one book you’d recommend, etc) and one of the many was Eleanor Oliphant is Completely Fine by Gail Honeyman
I was initially put off by her writing style, but knew that it was intentional and there were enough glimpses of something else to keep me going! And it was definitely worth it – the ending wasn’t a complete surprise to me, but it was still satisfying
I honestly wouldn’t have put it down if I didn’t have two toddlers and a full time job!
