I want to pick up a book from Palestinian literature to educate myself and know more. There has been lots of efforts by the media and govts to dehumanise Palestinians and I wish to humanise them.

Mornings in Jenin is a novel by Susan Abulhawa, but really any book by her could be a good place to start.
The Book of Ramallah (edited by) Maya Abu Al- Hayat is a collection of short stories from Palestinian authors.
There’s also a lot of great memoirs, would recommend Ghada Karmi or Edward Said’s autobiography Out of Place.
Her First Palestinian by Saeed Teebi. I didn’t love all the stories but some were fantastic.
