Don Winslow is easily my favorite author. I find it easy to read but also mentally engaging and stimulating. I feel like he does dialogue and character insight very well. I know that’s not unique to him but something about it resonates differently with me. Does anyone have any suggestions as to other authors one might enjoy if they love Don Winslow?

I wouldn’t say they’re perfect analogs, but Dennis Lehane and S.A. Cosby are the other crime authors I enjoy as much as Winslow.
